The Spring Awakening Kickstarter clearly lied to its fans and was deliberately misleading at best and fraudulent at worst, and I'm glad a major publication is calling them out on it after so many just reprinted their PR message with some fawning commentary.

I'm a Hillary supporter, but as a resident of D.C., where we've been stuck with the last primary of the season, I appreciate that Bernie isn't going to blow us off. I'd like to see him use this time to raise awareness about D.C.'s lack of Congressional voting rights and our contested ability to use even locally raised tax dollars without Congressional approval. And on Tuesday night, when the primary has wrapped up, I'd love to see him publicly concede to Hillary and ask his supporters to back her campaign.
ReplyDeleteThat makes sense! I'm fine with him waiting for DC, and I hope he does raise those issues. What I really don't want is him saying he'll contest it for weeks after the primaries end.
DeleteDefinitely agreed. That doesn't help anyone (including him, if the issues he's championed are truly ones he wants to move forward).
